Tiztunes the website is where you can find the music of Jon Tizzard.
Jon was lucky enough to be in Beat System during the early 1990s while he lived in Bath and was briefly around during their hit To a brighter day. Through this he was able to help contribute to remixes for The Stranglers, The Korgis and Somewhere over England, accidently working with Will Gregory, albeit without knowing it. Mind you he could be stood next to the Queen and would have to have her pointed out to him. He skillfully managed to avoid being part of the success of the Bristol bands at the time.
He moved back to Cardiff and played in a few local bands, skillfully avoiding having any success during the great Welsh Band scene, although he accidently drank in the same pub as all of them and used the same rehearsal room as the Manic Street Preachers, without ever meeting them, although he could have...see above about the Queen.
He moved to Exeter just in time for the arrival of Coldplay and Muse, although this time made sure that he wasn't using any rehearsal studios, by working completely by himself. He again skillfully avoided any success.
He has recently moved to South London and is eagerly awaiting the next big thing to erupt in the town near him, so he can skillfully avoid success again.
He spent many happy years working with a Tascam 4 track and an Atari running Cubase, before moving into the digital world in the mid noughties. He currently uses Cubase and Reason as well as any VSTs he can scrabble from the internet. His music is surprisingly good for someone who has so skillfully avoided having any success from it. He thinks he may have cracked it with FLAC though.
Happy listening.
